Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clear policies for a smooth and transparent stay experience.

1. Booking Cancellation

Once a booking is confirmed, cancellation requests must be made directly through our support team. Cancellation charges may apply depending on the timing of the request.

2. Cancellation Before Move-in

If cancellation is requested 48 hours before move-in, a partial refund may be provided after deducting processing charges.

If cancellation is made within 48 hours of move-in, no refund will be issued.

3. After Move-in

Once the tenant has moved in, no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

4. Security Deposit Refund

The security deposit will be refunded after the tenant vacates the property, subject to:

  • No property damage
  • No pending dues
  • Completion of the mandatory 30-day notice period

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 working days after successful inspection.

5. Notice Period Requirement

A minimum 30 days notice must be given before vacating. Failure to comply will result in deduction from the security deposit.

6. No-Show Policy

If a tenant fails to move in on the scheduled date without prior notice, the booking will be treated as cancelled and no refund will be issued.

7. Refund Mode

All eligible refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment or via bank transfer.

8. Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are non-refundable:

  • Booking/processing fees
  • Platform/service charges
  • Short-term stay adjustments

9. Early Exit

In case of early exit before the agreed stay duration, no rent refund will be provided.

10. Management Rights

Share A Room reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice.

By booking a stay, you agree to this cancellation and refund policy.
